- RedKit 3
During my internship as an Environment Artist at CD Projekt Red, I worked in the locations team, also coordinating with quest design, and helped cultivate the massive world of The Witcher 3. All locations I created are located in the area called “No Man’s Land”.
A big part of my work was planning and creating “Points of Interests” within the open world of The Witcher 3. Even though I was “just” an intern, I was treated like a Junior Environment Artist / Level Designer and expected to deliver assets and POIs in a quality that holds up to the standards of the other guys work.
The screenshots in this gallery are directly taken out of the game and represent my work on the project. Some of the locations went through iterations after I left the studio, mainly the dungeon entrance (the bridge was added). I also worked on one of the main dungeons in the game during the early stage blockout phase. The final representation was set up by another artist but the underlying layout was originally planned and blocked out by me.
